Article 42S of Export Control Order 2008 - provisions supplementing "the EU Torture Regulation" The export from Northern Ireland of the following security and para-military police "goods" are prohibited to any destination within the EU customs territory.

  • # 1.

    Items within 2.1 in Annex II to "the EU Torture Regulation" (electric shock device worn on the body);

  • # 2.

    Items within 2.3 in Annex II to "the EU Torture Regulation" (bar fetters, weighted leg restraints, and gang chains);

  • # 3.

    Items within 2.1 in Annex III to "the EU Torture Regulation" (portable electric discharge weapons).
